Kenya - Kabingara Kirinyaga Peaberry

Kenya - Kabingara Kirinyaga Peaberry

Cultivated in the rich soils of Kamwana, Kirinyaga, this coffee is comes directly from the Karithathi Farmers’ Cooperative Society (FCS), involving 800 dedicated farmers.

Handpicked during May to July and October to December, the ripe cherries undergo a meticulous process at Kabingara Factory. Pulping, fermentation, and washing pave the way for a drying period of 7 to 14 days on raised beds.

In Kenya, where coffee growing has evolved into a legacy, over 600,000 smallholders contribute nearly 70% of the country's coffee. Organized into Farmer Cooperative Societies (FCS), the meticulous preparation and exquisite flavors are synonymous with Kenya's commitment to quality.
